(Sept. 6-8) STREET RODS, colorful, classic cars, return to Ocean City this weekend. The vehicles arrive starting Friday at noon and depart Sunday at 1p.m. following an awards ceremony. They will be on display at the Tabernacle Grounds, 6th and Asbury Ave., a new location this year.
On Saturday the Street Rods will be displayed on the Boardwalk from noon till 4 p.m. The Street Rodders will arrive just in time to enjoy Ocean City Theatre Company's performances of "SMOKEY JOE'S Café, set for Sept. 6-7 at the Music Pier, Boardwalk and Moorlyn Terrace, 7:30 p.m. Call (609) 525-9300 for information.
