(June 16) Johnson's Popcorn Father's Day Family Fun Fest features face painters, 1 to 3 p.m. at 7th St. and Boardwalk, trackless train at 11th St. Pavilion and Music Pier, Pony rides at 12th St. from 1 to 3 p.m. Shore Thing Band, noon-2 pm. in front of the Music Pier. A Look Alike Contest at 2 p.m. will be followed by a pie eating contest in front of the Music Pier, Boardwalk and Moorlyn Terrace. For information, call 1-800-BEACHNJ.
(June 15) Professional Surfer, BETHANY HAMILTON, the "Soul Surfer," will discuss how she has survived a brutal shark attack. The program will be at the Ocean City Tabernacle, 5th and Wesley Ave. at 7 p.m. Bethany will talk about how she has overcome the issues in her life and how she has found hope. Admission is free. The Glenn Taylor Band will perform.

(June 14-16) Ocean City's first JEEP INVASION will feature an Army of Jeeps and also interesting vendors. You'll find custom Jeeps displayed both on the boardwalk and in the downtown. Here is the schedule: Fri., June 14 from 6-9 p.m., 7th to 9 th Sts. on Asbury Ave; Sat. June 15 from 12:30 p.m-4 p.m., 5th to 14th Sts. on the Boardwalk. The Jeep Invasion is a new event in Ocean City. The City presents three other car shows during the year, The Antique Auto Show, June 22; the Street Rod Weekend, Sept. 6-8; and the Corvette Show, one of the largest in the nation, Sept. 22.
The Pageant kicks off with its popular Boardwalk Parade on Wed., June 12 at 7 p.m. with its 23 contestants dressed as villains! Not to worry, it's all in fun. You'll enjoy such characters as Cat Woman, the Big Bad Wolf and Bonnie and Clyde. Leading the Parade will be the reigning Miss New Jersey, Lindsey Petrosh. Miss Ocean City, Devon Vanderslice, will brighten a Beach Patrol display. Special Pageant guest will be Mallory Hagan, the current Miss America, which should attract even more media attention.

Its the annual Miss Artisan Pageant, 8 p.m. on Sat., June 8 at the Music Pier, Boardwalk and Moorlyn Terrace. At this event, the Artisans select the young lady who will represent them for the coming year. Entertainment is part of the program which is free and open to the public.
