Join the Northeast’s largest treasure hunting club at the Ocean City Music Pier this weekend, Moorlyn Terrace and Boardwalk to compete in a series of metal detector hunts for great prizes. This years MOTHER'S DAY Concert will be held in the memory of arts benefactor Esther Weil. The concert is set for 4 p.m. on Sunday May 12 at the Music Pier, Boardwalk and Moorlyn Terrace. The concert will feature the West Chester Strings Orchestra directed by Charles de Pasquale. Admission is free.
On May 4th the Ocean City Mile long BLOCK PARTY is set from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. from 5th to 14th Streets on Asbury Ave. There will be over 350 crafters, food vendors and more. Public Service Booths will be located on 9th St. between Central and West Aves. The event is dedicated to the memory of Carolyn Murphy who directed the Block Party for many years.
On April 27th Ocean City NJ will be having a beach sweep to clean the beach. The time of the event is set for 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Stop at the Music Pier at Moorelyn Terrace and the Boardwalk for clean-up supplies. All organizations and families are invited to participate in this annual state wide event to keep beaches clean, safe, and protect the coastal environment. This Saturday April 13th will be the Annual Doo Dah Parade. Known for having over 500 basset hounds, the parade starts noon at 6th St. and runs down Asbury Ave. to 12th St. They then will make there way to the boardwalk and down to the Ocean City Music Pier.
